Sunday Ideas – Magnolia friend
Hello everyone – A fun easy layout was used to create the Sunday Ideas – Magnolia friend card.
I have another idea using the Simply Natural pattern paper. It has been fun playing with this pattern paper and stamp set creating different card ideas. I still have 2 more days to share an idea with you using these products.
Today’s Project
For this idea I began with inking a portion of the stamp with waterbased markers. Once it was stamped on my circle I layered it on a larger brown circle. I chose another pattern paper for the background. It was layered on a coordinating green cardstock. All the layers were added to a white card base to Create the card below.
The markers were used to color the image similar to the flowers in the pattern paper. To add a touch of bling some gold gems were added in the upper left near the stamped image and around the sentiment strip at the bottom.

White cardstock – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
brown cardstock – scrap for die cutting
green cardstock – 4” x 5 ¼”
pattern paper – swirly flowers and leaf stems on tan background – 3 13/16” x 5 1/16”
