Mixed Media Monday #13

Hello everyone – the Mixed Media Monday #13 has a botanical theme using some plants and a dragonfly
I went with a nature theme on this page. I am finding I am enjoying exploring different themes with this series. I have so many products and finding a new way to use them has expanded my skills.
Today’s Project
I began by doing a lot of inking on the page. I added several different color to tone down the white page. Then I started adding different stamping of various images. I also pulled in another color to add interest to the neutrals I had used. When everything was dry I needed some texture so used a stencil and texture paste to add some little boxes. I went looking in my stash and found a great PET tape image to use. I thought it went with the leaf spray.

I wanted to use a dragonfly I had in my ephemera collection and at it worked out the colors went well. To finish it off I found a sentiment that expresses my thoughts about playing with mixed media.
