The Journal Cover and a Flip Through the Completed Journal

Hello everyone – well I am finally finished and I have the last video for The Journal Cover and a Flip Through the Completed Journal to share with you.
I am so excited this is finally finished. I love how it turned out and may add a few more clusters to some of the other pages. I haven’t decided what I will do with it yet but time will tell.
Today’s Project
The cover had a great pattern to it so it only needed a few added elements to finish it off. Another filmstrip was added to tie into the pages in the book that had them. Another ticket with a sentiment was added behind the filmstrip. Some botanicals were tucked into a cluster and added to the front. A ticket was layered on top for some added interest. All the elements go well with the flower printed front cover.

With all the botanicals on the page and the flower cluster at the bottom, a moth was added to the botanical cluster at the top. The vellum ephemera had a great sentiment to add to the front.

I thought I would share a few of my favorite pages in this journal. One of my favorite was the vellum page you can see here. I loved the unexpected addition and a fun way to show off a pretty cluster. I also loved the blended background with the texture paste on top. This simple page appealed to me.
