Masculine idea for CutCardStock

Hello everyone – I used some mixed media ideas to design today’s Masculine idea for CutCardStock card.

Masculine cards are easy if you remember to use nature elements. A tree stencil and some leaf die cuts are a great way to start.

Today’s Project

I saw a reel by Melinda Stearns and wanted to try some of her ideas for my card. I used a tree stencil and some texture paste to create a panel. It adds some great texture to the card. By tearing the edge of the panel it adds more texture. Check out the texture on the card.

Another stencil was used to add a pattern on the left side of the card front. I sponged some ink on a large panel. I also added some green and gold splatters. When the panel was dry some leaf dies were used to cut out the shapes. A gold one was also cut out. The leaves were stacked and tied together using some burlap twine.

Those leaf dies are one of my favorite to use. I used them on this cluster on my card. Here is another idea using one the dies from the collection.
