Mixed Media Monday #10
Hello everyone – I decided to use some pattern paper and ephemera that I struggle with how to use them on this Mixed Media Monday #10 idea.
I have the Seeds of Happiness pattern paper and ephemera and there were some papers and ephemera pieces I struggled with using. I decided to use them today for my art journal.
Today’s Project
I chose my pattern papers and then decided to sponge some ink in the background. Then I started layering the paper. I have a pattern that has houses all over it and I have not used it much as I don’t know how to use it. I ended up tucking it behind the other pattern paper. To add some texture, I tore the edge of the dotted paper. I then added my ephemera. I checked my Tiny Text and chose a sentiment to add.
I pulled out one of the girls in the collection as I never know how to use them. I also chose to use a set of tennis shoes and a straw hat to layer behind her. It seemed to be missing something and I had a gold stitched circle on my table so I took it and cut a section off the edge. I tucked it behind the ephemera.

This Mixed Media idea used some ink to create a background. I love the bold colors that were used. This idea uses pattern paper also fun a fun bright idea.
