Mixed Media Monday #8
Hello everyone – I started out with an idea and it did not develop like I would have liked for this Mixed Media Monday #8.
I started off strong with my color combination but struggled after that. I knew some things I wanted to include but feel like it did not come together.
Today’s Project
I started with Peacock Feathers and added some ink. I then blended some Squeezed Lemonade with it. I used a wet paintbrush to blend the colors even further. Then I added some sparkle sticker paper to vellum and punched it out. That was the base of the focal cluster. I grabbed some pattern paper for all the different elements.
I chose to use circles for the background and added a short banner. A sentiment was added on top of the focal cluster. To add some texture I glued a piece of gauze behind the cluster.

I have a few ideas for ways to improve the Mixed Media Monday #8 page. I may try it over the next week or so. I will share it with you so you can see how I added more elements to it.
