Tag Idea for CutCardStock

Hello everyone – I took a break from Christmas cards and created a Tag Idea for CutCardStock today.
Do you make your own Christmas Tags? If you do I have a fun idea for you today. If you don’t, you can easily add the tag to a card front.
Today’s Project
I decided to make something other than a card for today. I pulled out a lot of supplies to make a tag. I was inspired by a tag from the Spellbinders Dear Santa kit. I saw Coffee and Cards Time use the kit to make a tag and took some ideas and made my version. I began with an envelope svg that I found in my Silhouette Store. I played with the size and finally came up with one that would work. It was cut out with CutCardStock and I added some pattern paper to the front. The kit had a postcard that was added to the envelope. I found a postcard stamp in my stash that I used. It was too long so I inked up one end and restamped it to change the size. I used a black marker and added the Dear Santa. Since I did not have the kit I decided to pull out my stamp sets and found a Christmas postage set I could use for some ephemera.

Cards and Coffee Time used a die set and created some other tuck-ins so I pulled my dies and created some more ephemera. She had add some glitter to the die cuts so I added some also. There was also a little jingle so I checked my stash and found some bells in my craft fair supplies.

CutCardStock has lots of red and greens you can use for your Christmas crafting. The green cardstock was also used to make the leaves on this card. The gold used on the center of the poinsettia was also used for the leaves for this masculine idea.
