Hello Everyone – I have a bunch of tulips for today’s Stampin’ Up Flowering Rain Boots Scene card.

Tulips are a welcome spot of color after the long winter months. I love seeing them in yards and signal to me that the long Winter months are finally over.

Measurements for Stampin’ Up Flowering Rain Boots Scene

Card Base: Pool Party 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
Flirty Flamingo: 1 1/2″ x 2″ and scrap for stamping and die cutting
Daffodil Delight: scrap for stamping and die cutting
Cajun Craze: scrap for stamping and die cutting
Smoky Slate: scrap for stamping and die cutting
White: 1 3/8″ x 1 7/8″ and scrap for stamping and die cutting
Flowering Fields pattern paper: 4″ x 5 1/4″ – blue sky with clouds pattern

Step by Step

affix all stamps to blocks
fold and burnish the card base
add the Flowering Fields pattern paper to the card front
stamp the following as below and use the coordinating dies to cut out the images
- Flirty Flamingo on Flirty Flamingo – tulip blooms
- Daffodil Delight on Daffodil Delight – tulip blooms
- Cajun Craze on Cajun Craze – flower pots – 2
- Smoky Slate on Smoky Slate – watering can
- Pear Pizzazz on White – flower stems – 2
take 1 flower pot and with a craft knife cut along the top outside line of the edge of the pot
insert the base of the other pot into the slit so it looks like the pots are stacked together – see photo above
add the flower pots to the lower left hand side of the card front
take the stamped stems and cut off the 2 stems on the left hand side, trim edge if needed
add the stems to the top flower pot making sure the bottom of the stems is even with the outside edge of the flower pot so it looks like the flowers are in the pot
cut the 2 tulip blooms off the left hand side of the Flirty Flamingo blooms, add them to the top of the stems in the pots
add the watering can to the lower right hand side of the card front
repeat procedure used for the stems with the flower pot with the remaining 4 stems adding them to the top of the watering can
cut the 2 tulip blooms off the left hand side of the Daffodil Delight blooms, add them to the top of the stems in the watering can
take the remaining stamped stem and cut off the 2 stems on the left hand side, trim edge if needed
add the stems to the bottom of the card front between the flower pots and watering can
take the remaining Flirty Flamingo tulip blooms and add them to the top of the stems you just added to the card front
stamp the sentiment on the White rectangle using Pool Party ink
glue the sentiment to the Flirty Flamingo rectangle
add the sentiment to the upper left hand side of the card front using dimensionals
