Hello Friend for Sunday Ideas
Hello everyone – the Hello Friend for Sunday Ideas is the last idea for the Special Place stamp set.
I have enjoyed playing with this collection from Unity Stamp Co. I hope you have gotten some ideas to use for your collections. Check your stash and find a stamp set and pattern paper that go together and use them along with my layouts to make your set of cards.
Today’s Project
I began by choosing the pattern papers I wanted to use for the card. I chose a paper with the pattern in the upper right hand corner. I paired it with a strip of paper that had the same blooms but on a larger scale. I thought I would try something different and stamp on one of the pattern papers. I chose one that was a light color solid background so the stamp would show up. I colored the image with markers then stamped it onto the pattern paper. The paper has a slick surface so I had to be careful. I also heat set the ink with my heat tool so it would not smear.
I used a sentiment from another set as I wanted a fun idea. I also stamped one of the buds from the stamp set at the top to tie everything together. To finish off the card I added some gold gems.
